1. Custom tiles[]
Let's learn how to create custom tiles! Custom tiles can make your mappack more attractive and unique. While you can create a mappack without custom tiles and still have a good result, adding custom tiles will give another level of depth and originality to your mappack.
When creating sprites, it is crucial to use a software program that supports transparent pixels, such as Aseprite. Avoid using Microsoft Paint or any other software that does not support transparent pixels. If you do not use a transparent tileset, your tiles may end up looking like coins. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that all tiles are precisely 16 x 16 pixels with a 1-pixel gap to the right and bottom edge of the sprite.
