Cannons are just that, cannons that shoot out cannonballs.
In-Game[]
Cannons shoot out cannonballs, which act like Bullet Bills, but can be shot out of 8 distinct directions.
How to Use[]
They appear as a default enemy in Alesan99's entities.
The barrel can be placed in 8 different angles, and the base can be placed facing the floor, the walls, or the ceiling. Only when the base is facing the floor is when the cannon falls.
The default speed for cannonballs are 7, but they can go as low as 3.5, or as high as 14, though you can achieve higher or lower speeds by editing the file for the level they're in. Any speed over 7 will turn the cannon red.
Strategies[]
- Many of the same strategies for Bullet Bills will work with Cannons as well.
Trivia[]
- Cannonballs are entities prior to V1.3. They are still entities hidden in the data and can be found in old mappacks that use them. They were likely replaced by cannons due to them being one of the possible entities that can spawn from a spawner.
