Monty Mole

Monty Moles are burrowing moles that can pop out the ground.

In-Game[]

Monty Moles may spawn hiding in the ground, or on the surface. If they do hide in the ground, they will wait until the player gets near for a surprise attack, and spring onto the surface. When on the surface, Monty Moles chase after the player. They may be killed in any method.

Mega Mole

Mega Mole[]

Mega Moles are much larger Monty Moles. They do not chase after the player, nor appear underground. They cannot be stomped on, nor killed whatsoever, however they can be stood and rid on.

How to Use[]

Many of the same strategies for Goombas will work with Monty Moles and Mega Moles as well.
Hidden Monty Moles may be used to surprise/catch the player off-guard.
- They can also be use to be unobtrusive to other enemies until they attack.
Mega Moles can walk on dangerous hazards, such as Spike Blocks. Use this ability to your advantage by hitching a safe ride on it.

Monty Moles and Mega Moles first appeared in Super Mario World.
