Venus Fire Trap

Venus Fire Traps were created by Maurice from a basic plant in order to showcase custom enemies. For more information about them in the Mario universe, check the Mario Wiki.

In-Game[]

They act exactly like plants with two key differences: they shoot fireballs and stay out longer... so that they can shoot more fireballs.

Alesan99 made some graphics for them as well, so that they can face the player. If used, you must add "facesplayer": true.

How to Use[]

First, download the images used and copy the code into a .json file. Then, place those in your enemies folder and select them in the editor.

Strategies[]

Many of the same strategies for Piranha Plants will works for Venus Fire Traps as well.
While their projectiles may be slow, they can be overwhelming in large amounts.
