Wigglers are big caterpillars with a flower atop its head.

In-game[]

Wigglers are enemies with five segments, each adjacent to and following one another. They normally wander around aimlessly, but if a player stomps on a Wiggler, it will get angry, chasing down the player.

How to Use[]

Many of the same strategies for Goombas will work with Wigglers as well.
They do not die when stomped on, and they chase you when they're angry, making good springboards that also act like a threat.
As the segments of the Wiggler make for a long enemy, and they cannot easily be defeated without a fireball, they shouldn't be very common.

Trivia[]

Wigglers first appeared in Super Mario World.
